Children's Day

5th May was " Children's Day" in Japan. It is a day set aside to respect children's personalities and to celebrate their happiness. These photos are sperical things for this day.

Kashiwa-mochi
It is a steamed rice cake containing bean jam wrapped in an oak leaf.

Koinobori
The large carp at the top represents the father, the second carp represents the mother, and the third carp represents their children.)

Shoubu-yu
Bath in the calamus



This is not reationship in Children's Day. When my father bought Kashiwa-mochi, he bought this Wagashi too.
